A shipment rarely stalls because the rules are hard. It stalls because someone assumed.
Anton Kaioukov founded Maska International in Longueuil. The firm has stayed deliberately small: the person who quotes your clearance is the person who files it, and the person you reach when a truck is held at the line.
Most of the work is unglamorous and decides everything — the right HS code, a certificate that matches the invoice, an ITN filed before the vehicle leaves the seller's lot. Where a classification is genuinely open to interpretation, you get told that, not a confident-sounding guess.
The house rule is simple: the client hears the number before the goods move, not after. That is also why the office answers outside business hours — a shipment held at 21:00 is not a next-morning problem.
